Spring Fest 2013, will be held in Franklin Park in Southport Friday and Saturday of Easter Weekend, March 29th and 30th, 2013, and is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club in conjunction with the Downtown Southport Inc..
The event consists of craft vendors, entertainment at the amphitheater, children's activities, food booths (great Kiwanis Hotdogs), azalea sales (Encore Azaleas), and on Saturday, a Chili Cook-off contest. We will also be sponsoring our first 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday morning at 8:00 am.
The Shotgun Start (9:00 am), Captain's Choice, Best ball tournament will
be held in late June, 23, 2012 at the Oak Island Golf Club.
$65 per player entry fee includes green fee, cart rental, light breakfast, and
a box lunch, and after game festivities. Entry is limited to the first 144 players.
Following the tournament will be prize drawings, auction items,
and free beer.
All proceeds are used to support programs for youth and children in
Brunswick County.
Several dozen club members deliver meals to local shut-in's
each week. Meals on Wheels donates the mileage cost to the
Kiwanis Club each month.

A $10 ticket enters you to win one of three grocery certificates
valued at $1,000 each that can be redeemed at the store
of you choice.
Sales will run from July through September, The date for the ticket drawing
will be announced.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 (bargin price).
